Quannishia (Queen) Burrell

Founder & Executive Director

Quannishia Burrell is the Founder and Executive Director of O’Nesty’s Safe Arms Foundation, created in loving memory of her granddaughter, O’Nesty Burrell. After O’Nesty’s passing, Quannishia knew she wanted to build a foundation that would honor her legacy by protecting other infants and supporting families in crisis.

Driven by a deep desire to advocate for those without a voice, Quannishia became a paralegal to better understand the legal systems that impact children, parents, and caregivers. Her legal training, lived experience, and heart for service all come together in O’Nesty’s Safe Arms Foundation, where she is committed to creating safe options, compassionate support, and real resources for Nevada’s most vulnerable infants and families.

After O’Nesty’s passing, Tam’Bryah felt called to make a difference so that no other baby or child would experience what her niece went through.
