Our work is deeply personal.

O’Nesty’s Safe Arms Foundation was created in loving memory of O’Nesty Burrell, a precious 9-month-old whose life was tragically cut short due to unsafe conditions in the home she was in. Her Honey Ma (grandma), Quannishia Burrell, founded this organization to carry O’Nesty’s light forward and ensure that other infants who may be at risk receives the protection, care, and hope that O’Nesty deserved. This foundation stand as her legacy-one built on love, safety, and second chances.

We exist to protect infants, support parents in emotional or situational crisis, and connect families to safe, legal, and compassionate options before harm occurs. Our work focuses on:

• Infant emergency support – crisis kits, essentials, and collaboration with hospitals and agencies

• Safe Haven and legal safety education – helping parents understand safer options than abandonment or unsafe placements

• Postpartum and parent support – emotional support, referrals, and resource navigation

• Housing, food, and practical assistance connections – guiding families toward Nevada-based help for basic needs

Everything we do is trauma-informed, judgment-free, and centered on the safety and wellbeing of infants and their caregivers.

O’Nesty’s Safe Arms Foundation is a Nevada nonprofit public benefit corporation organized under Chapter 82 of the Nevada Revised Statutes and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

We are committed to using all contributions responsibly and transparently to support our mission and programs. We do not sell or trade donor information, and we will always be honest about how your gift will be used.

Unless otherwise designated by the donor and accepted by the Foundation, contributions are treated as unrestricted and used where the need is greatest to advance our mission. Designated or restricted gifts will be used for the purposes described, to the extent consistent with our charitable mission and applicable law.

We encourage donors to contact us with any questions about our programs, financial stewardship, or how contributions are used.

Through our trained caregivers, trauma-informed team, and trusted medical and community partners, we work tirelessly to provide immediate, safe care to the youngest and most vulnerable.
